Guy’s role includes Finance Director, Sales Director and Brewing Operations Director.
With a degree in Chemical Engineering from UNSW, Guy was selected to join the Lion Graduate Program where he spent six years in a range of roles and business units including Brewing, Corporate Strategy and Sales.
During his time there he developed his passion for beer, love of the hospitality industry and gained an in depth understanding of the brewing process. He developed an understanding of the beer consumer and gained insight into the sales and marketing of FMCG both to on and off-premise markets.
Guy spent the next five years in commercial finance gaining a strong understanding of small, medium and large business and the key drivers of their success before partnering with Steve in 2007 to create The Local Taphouse.
