24/7 airport to hotel transportation
The SkyBus express bus service to the city operates 24/7, every 10 minutes. The journey takes just 20 minutes and costs AU$18.75 one way and AU$36 for a return fare. Taxis from Melbourne Airport to the city centre will take 20 minutes and cost approximately AU$45 for a one-way fare.

Myki Visitor Pass

The Visitor Myki has been developed for visitors and is available at Public Transport Victoria (PTV) hubs, the Melbourne Visitor Information Centre and many hotels. The Visitor Myki costs AU$14 and is pre-loaded with Myki money for one day’s travel in Zone 1. Tram travel in Melbourne’s central business district and Docklands is free. Twenty four hour tram and train services are available on Friday/Saturday nights.

Perfect Walking City

Melbourne is set in a compact grid layout, making it very easy to navigate by foot. The Grand Hyatt is located within easy walking distance of many, restaurants, cafés, shopping and attractions. The City of Melbourne provides informative walking maps and information that can be downloaded for free.


River Cruises

With the Yarra River running through it, Melbourne is a great city to make your way around by boat. Jump on a Melbourne Water Taxi or take a scenic cruise departing from Southbank.

Free City Circle Tram

Operating every 12 minutes, the City Circle Tram travels the perimeter of Melbourne’s city centre, taking in many of Melbourne’s landmarks. Delegates can catch the tram at any of the specially marked stops on Flinders Street, Harbour Esplanade, Docklands Drive or Spring Street. The City Circle route uses iconic W-Class trams, offering passengers an historical experience and commentary along the way.
